Welcome !

Welcome to Maple Grove Public School, a place where the rich heritage of Lanark meets the future of education. As the principal, I am honored to lead a school community that is deeply rooted in tradition while embracing innovative approaches to learning. At Maple Grove Public School, we are committed to the Upper Canada District School Board's Student Achievement Plan and the Director's Work Plan. These guiding documents ensure that we provide a high-quality education that meets the diverse needs of all our students. Our focus is on fostering a growth mindset, where students are encouraged to embrace challenges, learn from feedback, and persist in the face of obstacles. Our School Improvement Plan centers around three priorities: improving literacy and numeracy, enhancing student well-being, and increasing graduation rates. The Director's Work Plan adds action to these directions, setting out four priority areas and specific goals to support the priorities identified by the Board of Trustees. Our caring and dedicated educators are at the heart of our school. They are passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential. Through meaningful and challenging learning opportunities, we engage our students in learning that is both rigorous and relevant, preparing them for success in an ever-changing world. We believe that education is a partnership between the school, families, and the community. Together, we can create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes academic excellence, personal growth, and lifelong learning. Thank you for visiting our website. We invite you to explore and learn more about the vibrant and dynamic community that makes Maple Grove Public School a special place to learn and grow.
