Maple Grove Public School Council

The Maple Grove Public School Council is a vital part of our school community and an important educational partnership as outlined by the Ontario Ministry of Education. School Councils provide parents, guardians, and community members with a voice in school decision-making and help strengthen the connection between home and school.

Our Council is made up of dedicated parents and guardians who work hard to support student learning and well-being at Maple Grove. We meet about once a month, both in person in the Learning Commons and virtually, to plan initiatives and discuss ways to enhance the educational experience for all students.

What We Do

  • Fundraising and Volunteering: We organize fundraising efforts and volunteer in the school to provide resources and opportunities that enrich student learning.
  • Community Events: From our Welcome Back BBQ to other family-focused activities, we help build a strong, inclusive school community.
  • Supporting Learning: Through our efforts, students experience programs and activities that would not be possible without the Council’s dedication.

Why Join Us?

We are always looking for new members who share our commitment to supporting student success. Joining the School Council is a meaningful way to make a difference in your child’s education and contribute to a positive school environment.

Together, we create opportunities that benefit students and support families—because when schools and families work together, everyone wins.
